REPUBLIC OF VANUATU

APPROPRIATION (2001) ACT NO. 43 2000

An Act to provide for the appropriation of funds for the services of the Government for the year ending on 31 December 2001.

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Appropriation

The amount of VT 8,733,272,617 is to be issued from the public funds of the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu for the year ending on 31 December 2001 and is appropriated as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on 1 January 2001.

Explanatory Note

The purpose of this Bill is to obtain the approval and authorisation of Parliament for the appropriation of funds not exceeding VT 8,733,272,617 for the services of the Government during the financial year commencing on 1 January 2001 and ending on 31 December 2001.
