1994 SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT 1994

AN ACT to authorise a supplementary appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund for recurrent expenditures for the service of the year ending 31 December 1994.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Tuvalu–

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the 1994 Supplementary Appropriation Act 1994.

Authorisation of Supplementary Appropriation

2. The Minister may, by warrant under his of hand, in addition to the sum already authorised for the service of Tuvalu for the financial year ending 31 December 1994 further authorise the issue from the Consolidated Fund for the service of the same financial year a sum not exceeding five hundred and sixty-eight thousands, eight hundred and forty-two dollars ($568,842), and which sum shall be appropriated in accordance with the schedule for the purposes specified.

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM
(This memorandum is not part of the Act)

This Act authorises the supplementary appropriation of moneys from the Consolidated Fund of Tuvalu in accordance with section 15(3) of the Public Finance Act. This supplementary appropriation, amounting to five hundred and sixty - eight thousands, eight hundred and forty - two dollars ($568,842.00) will be credited to the sums previously appropriated to heads of expenditure specified in the schedule for the financial year ending 31 December 1994.
