1993 SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT 1993

AN ACT to authorise a supplementary appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund

for recurrent expenditure to the service of the year ending 31 December 1993.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Tuvalu-

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the 1993 Supplementary Appropriation Act 1993.

Authorisation of Supplementary Appropriation

2. The Minister may, by warrant under his hand, in addition to the sum already authorised for the service of the Government Ministries listed in the schedule, authorise the issue from the Consolidated Fund, for the service of those Ministries, of a sum not exceeding Three hundred and thirty nine thousands and one hundred and thirty three dollars ($339,133.00), which sum shall be appropriated in accordance with the schedule for the purposes specified.

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM
(This memorandum is not part of the Act)

The purpose of this Act is to authorise the supplementary appropriation of moneys out of the Consolidated Fund of Tuvalu in accordance with section 15(3) of the Public Finance Act. This supplementary appropriation, amounting to $339,133.00 will be credited to the sums previously appropriated to three ministries stipulated in the schedule.

The expenditures authorised under this Act were urgent and unforeseen at the time of the 1993 Appropriation Act 1992.
