Court Fees (Amendment) Act 1999

TONGA

COURT FEES (AMENDMENT) ACT 1999
No. 9 of 1999.

I assent,

TAUFA'AHAU TUPOU IV,
11th August, 1999

AN ACT
TO AMEND THE COURT FEES ACT

[1st July, 1999].

BE IT ENACTED by the King and Legislative Assembly of Tonga in the Legislature of the Kingdom as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Court Fees (Amendment) Act 1999.

(2) The Court Fees Act (Cap 12), as amended, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act.

2. Section 2, subsection (1) of the Principal Act is amended by adding the following words after the word 'applicable.' where it appears in that subsection-

"Provided that no fee shall be charged or payable in any case in which such fee charged would have to be paid by any Government Department".

Passed by the Legislative Assembly this 1st day of July, 1999.

(2) Ko e Lao ki he Ngaahi Totongi Fakamaau'anga (Vahe 12), 'i hono fakatonutonu, 'oku ui is 'i he Lao ni ko e Tefito 'i Lao.

2. 'Oku fakatonutonu 'a e kupu 2, kupu-si'i (1) 'o e Tefito'i Lao 'aki hono tanaki atu 'a e ngaahi fo'i lea ko 'eni hili 'a e fo'i lea "ko ia." 'i he'ene ha 'i he kupu-si 'i ko ia-

"Ka kuo pan 'e 'ikai hilifaki pe totongi ant ha totongi 'i ha fa'ahinga me'a 'a is 'e pan ke totongi kuo hilifaki ko is 'e ha Potungaue 'a e Pule'anga."
