THE INCOME TAX RATE AMENDMENT ACT 1978

An Act to amend the Income Tax Rate Act 1974

[16 August 1978

1. Short title – This Act may be cited as the Income Tax Rate Amendment Act 1978 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Income Tax Rate Act 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act).

2. Commencement – This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January 1978.

3. This section substituted a new item for Item 1 in the First Schedule to the principal Act.

The Income Tax Rate Act 1974 is administered in the Department of Inland Revenue.
