AN ACT to amend the Constitution as to the number of Members of Parliament elected for territorial constituencies.

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of Western Samoa in Parliament assembled as follows:-

1. Short title - This Act may be cited as the Constitution Amendment Act (No. 2) 1991 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Constitution of the Independent State of Western Samoa (hereinafter referred to as the Constitution).

2. Members of the Legislative Assembly - Article 44 of the Constitution is amended by repealing subclause (aa) of clause (1) (as amended by section.2 of the Constitution Amendment Act 1963) and substituting the following subclause:-

"(aa) Six addititonal members being one addititonal member elected for each of such 6 of those territorial constituencies as are prescribed from time of time by Act:"
