An Act to amend the Health Practitioners Act No.5 of 1983.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

AMENDMENT OF ACT No. 5 OF 1983

1. The Health Practitioners Act No. 5 of 1983 is amended in section 2 by the repeal of subsection (6) and the substitution of the following subsection.

"(6) The Minister shall appoint a secretary to the Board."

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
