HONOURS (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 3 OF 1993

Assent: 19/02/93
Commencement: 3/05/93

An Act to amend the Honours Act [CAP. 120].

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows: -

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 1 OF CHAPTER 120

1. The Honours Act [CAP. 120] is amended in subsection (1) of section 1 by repealing paragraph (e) and substituting the following paragraph: -

"(e) medals to mark historic events in the Republic of Vanuatu to be awarded –

(i) to persons holding certain offices of certain lengths of service or who have given good service:

(ii) to persons who have rendered service worthy of recognition."

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
