THE GOVERNMENT BORROWING AND GUARANTEE (AMENDMENT) ACT

An Act to amend the Government Borrowing And Guarantee Act No. 20 of 1982.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows: -

AMENDMENT OF ACT No. 20 OF 1982

1. The Government Borrowing And Guarantee Act No. 20 of 1982 is amended:

(a) in subsection (1) of section 1 by substituting the figure "200" for the figure "150";

(b) in subsection (2) of section 1 by substituting the figure "500" for the figure "300";

(c) in subsection (4) of section 1 by deleting the words "Development Fund" and substituting therefor the words "Revenue Fund"; and

(d) in subsection (2) of section 3 by substituting the figure "300" for the figure "150".

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the first day of January, 1988.
