CASINO CONTROL (AMENDMENT)
ACT NO. 25 OF 1998

An Act to amend the Casino Control Act No. 6 of 1993.


BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 13

1. Section 13 of the Casino Control Act No. 6 of 1993 is amended in paragraph (1)(b) by deleting “20 percent” and substituting “10 percent”.

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act commences on the 1st day of January l999.

Explanatory Note

The purpose of the Bill is to reduce the tax payable under the Casino Control Act No. 6 of 1993 from 20 percent to 10 percent.
