An Act to repeal the Beer Act No. 53 of 1989

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1 Repeal of Act

The Beer Act No. 53 of 1989 Act is repealed.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on 1 January 2003.

Explanatory Note

The purpose of this Bill is to repeal the Beer Act No. 53 of 1989. It is no longer necessary because of the passage of new excise tax legislation.
