(AMENDMENT) ACT

An Act to amend the Airport Departure Tax (International Flights) Act [CAP. 77].

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows: -

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 1 OF CHAPTER 77

1. Section 1 of the Airport Departure Tax (International Flights) Act [CAP. 77] in this Act referred to as the "principal Act" is amended in paragraph (a) by deleting the words, "under 2 years of age" and substituting the words "under 12 years of age".

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 2

2. Section 2 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the figure "2,000" and substituting the figure "2,500".

COMMENCEMENT

3. This Act shall come into force on 1st January, 1997.
