PUBLIC FINANCE ACT (CAP.49)

ENACTED BY THE PARLIAMENT OF TUVALU

Commencement [Date]

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 20 (3) (c) of the Public Finance Act the Minister, makes the following Regulations —

1 Citation and Commencement

These Regulations may be cited as the Community Rehabilitation Fund (Special Fund) Regulations 1995 and shall come into effect on the date of publication.

2 Interpretation

In these Regulations, unless the context otherwise requires —

"Fund" means the Community Rehabilitation Fund established by the Community Rehabilitation Fund (Special Fund) Order 1995;

"Minister" means the Minister of Finance, Economic Planning, Commerce and Industries;

"the Order" means the Community Rehabilitation Fund (Special Fund) Order 1995. Community Rehabilitation Fund (Special Fund) Section 3 CAP. 49 Regulations 1995

Payments

The Minister may, with the concurrence of the Cabinet, authorise payments from the Fund to further the purposes of the Fund as set out in the Order only if the loss or damage sustained or caused to a community asset or a private dwelling-house is of the nature and kind contemplated by the Order.
