EMPLOYMENT ACT (CAP.84)


ENACTED BY THE PARLIAMENT OF TUVALU


Commencement [1st September 1991]


IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 119 of the Employment Act the Minister makes the following Regulations —


1 Citation and commencement


These Regulations may be cited as the Employment (Form for Workers Recruiting Licence) Regulations 1991 and shall come into effect on 1st September 1991.


2 Form of the workers recruiting licence


The licence that may be issued by the Commissioner under section 35(1) of the Employment Act shall be in the form prescribed in the schedule.

EMPLOYMENT ACT (Cap.84)


WORKERS RECRUITING LICENCE


(s.35 (1) of Cap.84)


Whereas Mr .............................................(full name) of ...................................Company has satisfied me that he is a fit and proper person to recruit workers for overseas employment, and whereas 1 am satisfied that all necessary measures have been taken for the protection of the recruits beyond the limits of Tuvalu; therefore


I, ..................................................Commissioner of Labour, hereby issue this licence, for recruiting workers from Tuvalu for overseas employment by (name of employer or organisation of employers) subject to the following conditions;

Unless earlier revoked or suspended, this Recruiting Licence will be effective from the date of issue for a period of 12 months.
