CUSTOMS ACT
SECTION 4

TARIFF ORDER IN RELATION TO AMENDMENT
OF IMPORT DUTY RATE ON TARIFF ITEM
1212:0010 (YAQONA).

In exercise of the power vested in me by section 4 of the Customs Act 1993, I acting in accordance with the advice of the Cabinet, hereby make the following order:

Citation and Commencement

1. This order may be cited as the Customs Tariff Order 1998 and shall come into operation on 15 September, 1998.

2. The Order specifically relating to imposition of 50% rate of duty on tariff item 1212.0010 (Yaqona) of the Customs Tariff Schedule is hereby repealed and shall be amended as detailed.

Rates of Customs Tariff Prescribed

3. The rate of duty on tariff item 1212.0010 shall be amended from 50% and be replaced by 30%.
