AN ACT TO AUTHORISE SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION OF MONIES
OUT OF THE CONSOLIDATED FUND FOR RECURRENT EXPENDITURE FOR THE SERVICE OF THE YEAR ENDING 31 DECEMBER 1994

Commencement: 1995


MADE by Maneaba ni Maungatabu and assented to by the Beretitenti.

Short title and commencement

1. This Act may be cited as the Supplementary Appropriation Act 1995 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 November 1994.

Authorised of issue of $630,000 from the Consolidated Fund

2. The issue from the Consolidated Fund is hereby authorised of a sum of $630,000 to be applied for recurrent expenditure to the service of the year ending December 1994.

Appropriation

3. The sum specified in Section shall be appropriated for the supply of the Heads of Expenditure specified in Column 1 of the Schedule annexed to this Act in the sums respectively specified in relation thereto in Column 2 of the Schedule.

SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION ACT 1995

EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM


1. This Act seeks to charge upon the Consolidated Fund the appropriation of monies ($630,000) required for recurrent expenditure in respect of the months, November and December 1994.

2. This is achieved by giving the Act a retrospective effect to 1 November 1994.

3. This Act is presented to the Maneaba ni Maungatabu in accordance with the requirements of Section 109(3) of the Constitution.
