HIGH COURT (AMENDMENT) (NO.2) RULES. 1991


IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section 25 of the High Court Act, I hereby make the following Rules:

Short title


1. These Rules may be cited as the High Court (Amendment) (No.2) Rule 1991 and shall come into force on the 15th day of November 1991.

Amendment of Order 29



2. Paragraph (2) of Order 29 rule 1 is revoked and replaced by the following paragraph:

“Where the applicant is the Plaintiff and the case is one of urgency and the delay caused by proceeding in the ordinary way would entail irreparable or serious mischief such application may be made ex parte on affidavit by except as aforesaid such application must be made by Notice of Motion or Summons”.
