MARINE (COASTING "TRADE) (AMENDMENT)
REGULATIONS 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 158(1) and 212 of the Marine Act, 1986, I make the following Regulations -

Citation

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Marine (Coasting Trade) (Amendment) Regulations 2009.

Regulation 3 amended

2. Regulation 3 of the Marine (Coasting Trade) Regulations 1991 is amended in sub regulation (2) by -

(a) deleting in paragraph (a)(ii) "except where section 149(3) of the Marine Act, 1986 applies";

(b) repealing paragraph (b); and

(c) by renumbering paragraph (c) as paragraph (b).

Regulation 6 amended

3. Regulation 6 of the Marine (Coasting Trade) Regulations 1991 is amended in sub regulation (b) by -

(a) deleting "or, where section 149(3) of the Marine Act 1986 applies, the vessel in respect of which the licence is granted".
