Land Transport (Driver)
(Amendment) Regulations 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 113 of the Act, and after consulting with the Authority, I make these Regulations —

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Land Transport (Driver) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and shall come into force on the 27th day of July 2009.

Regulation 19 amended

2. Regulation 19 of the Land Transport (Driver) Regulations 2000 is amended by deleting paragraph 1 and substituting the new paragraph —

"1.—(a) A learner's permit issued under section 57(1) of the Act is valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

(b) Any person issued with a Learner's Permit in accordance with paragraph (a) shall also be issued with a Learner's Work Book and a National Driving Curriculum as prescribed by the Authority".
