Financial (Amendment) Instructions 2009

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 72 of the Financial Management Act 2004, I hereby make these amendments -

Citation and Commencement

1. This instruction may be cited as the Financial (Amendment) Instructions 2009 and is deemed to have commenced on 1st day of August 2009.

Instruction 9 (1) Amended

2. Instruction 9 sub instruction (1) of the Finance Instruction of 2005 is revoked and replaced -

"9.-(1) For funds placed under requisition that is -

(a) less than $1m, the approval of the Permanent Secretary for Finance must besought before funds can be expended for the purposes identified in the Annual Budget;

(b) more than $1m, the approval of the Minister for Finance must besought before funds can be expended for the purposes identified in the Annual Budget."."
