VETERINARY SURGEONS (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2012
(DECREE NO. 15 OF 201 2)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority of Fiji Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree -

A DECREE TO AMEND THE VETERINARY SURGEONS ACT (CAP. 257)

Short title and commencement

1-(1 This Decree may be cited as the Veterinary Surgeons (Amendment) Decree 2012.

(2) This Decree shall commence on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

Second Schedule amended

2. The Second Schedule of the Veterinary Surgeons Act (Cap. 257) is amended by inserting the following Universities -

Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (India);

College of Veterinary Sciences (India);

Bangalore Veterinary College (India);

University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (Pakistan);

University of Agriculture (Pakistan);

University of Perdeniya (Sri Lanka):

University of Putra Malaysia (Malaysia);

University of the Philippines (Philippines);

university of Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe);

University of Zambia (Zambia);

University of Nairobi (Kenya); and

Makarere University (Uganda).

GIVEN under my hand this 26th day of January 2012.
