AN ACT

TO AMEND THE TRADE UNIONS ACT

ENACTED by the Parliament of Fiji -

Short title and commencement

1. This Act may be cited as the Trade Unions (Amendment) Act, 1994 and shall come into force on the day it is published in the Fiji Republic Gazette.

Clause 13 of the Schedule amended

2. Clause 13 of the Schedule to the Trade Unions Act (as amended by Section 9 of the Trade Unions Act (Amendment) Decree, 1991) is amended by -

(i) erasing the semi-colon after the word "levies" in paragraph "(g)" and substituting a full stop; and

(ii) repealing paragraph "(h)".

Passed by the House of Representatives this twentieth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ninety-four.

Passed by the Senate this third day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand, nine hundred and ninety-four.
