AN ACT

TO AMEND THE TAX FREE ZONES DECREE

ENACTED by the Parliament of the Fiji Islands-

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Tax Free Zones (Amendment) Act 1998.

(2) In this Act, "Decree" means the Tax Free Zones Decree 1991.

Grant of Tax Free Zone licence etc

2. Section 7 of the Decree is amended in subsection (3) by deleting "twenty percent of its production for sale within Fiji" and substituting "30% of its production for sale within the Fiji Islands".

Passed by the House of Representatives this 8th day of October 1998.

Passed by the Senate this 29th day of October 1998.
