Reserve Bank of Fiji (Amendment) Decree 1989

REPUBLIC OF FIJI

DECREE NO. 28

RESERVE BANK OF FIJI (AMENDMENT) DECREE, 1989

A DECREE TO AMEND THE RESERVE BANK OF FIJI ACT

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree-

Short Title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Reserve Bank of Fiji (Amendment) Decree, 1989.

Section 38 amended

2. Section 38 of the Reserve Bank of Fiji Act is amended by deleting the words "from account holders" from paragraph (c), substituting a colon, and inserting the following proviso thereafter-

"Provided that, notwithstanding any other provision of this Part, such operations need not be limited to account holders or to banks or credit institutions only:".
