NATIVE LAND TRUST (BOARD MEMBERSHIP) DECREE, 1988

A DECREE TO PROVIDE FOR THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE NATIVE TRUST BOARD

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President and Commander-in-Chief of Fiji, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, and I hereby make the following Decree-

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Native Land Trust (Board Membership) Decree, 1988.

Appointment of members of the Board

2. Notwithstanding the provisions of any other law, the appointment of those members of the Native Land Trust Board whose names appear in the Schedule hereto shall be deemed to have been made in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of section 3 of the Native Land Trust Act effective from the date therein specified.
