JUDICATURE (AMENDMENT) DECREE, 1989

A DECREE TO AMEND THE JUDICATURE DECREE 1988

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree -

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Judicature (Amendment) Decree, 1989.

Interpretation

2. In this Decree the Judicature Decree, 1988 is referred to as "the principal Decree".

Section 13(2) of principal Decree amended

3. Section 13 of the principal Decree is amended by deleting the word "seventy" appearing in the last line of subsection (2) and substituting the word "seventy-five".

Section 16(2) of principal Decree amended

4. Section 16 of the principal Decree is amended by deleting the word "seventy" appearing in the last line of subsection (2) and substituting the word "seventy-five".
