HOUSING ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 1992

A DECREE TO AMEND THE HOUSING ACT CAP. 267

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President of Sovereign Democratic Republic of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Housing Act (Amendment) Decree, 1992.

Interpretation

2. In this Decree, unless the context otherwise requires, "the Act" means the Housing Act, Cap. 267.

Section 2 amended

3. The Act is amended by substituting the symbol and figures “$140.00” by the symbol and figures "$300" in the definition of worker in Section 2.
