HOTELS AID ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 1990

A DECREE TO EXTEND THE APPLICATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF SECTIONS OF THE HOTELS AID ACT FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF THREE YEARS

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Hotels Aid (Extension) Decree, 1990.

Provision of version 5 of Hotels Aid Act Extension

2. Notwithstanding anything contained in subsection (4) of section 5 of the Hotels Aid Act, the provisions of section 5 are hereby extended and shall continue to apply with effect from January, 1990 until 31 December, 1993.

Commencement

3. This Decree shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January, 1990.
