HOTELS AID (EXTENSION) DECREE, 1989

A DECREETO EXTEND THE APPLICATION OFTHE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 5 OF THE HOTELS AID ACT FOR A FURTHER PERIOD OF THREE YEARS

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President and Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of Fiji, and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree-

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Hotels Aid (Extension) Decree, 1989.

Provisions of section 5 of Hotels Aid Act extended

2. Notwithstanding anything contained in subsection (4) of section 5 of the Hotels Aid Act, the provisions of section 5 are hereby extended and shall continue to apply with effect from 1 January 1987 until 31 December 1989.

Commencement

3. This Decree shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January 1987.
