HOTELS AID ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2000

(INTERIM MILITARY GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 28 OF 2000)

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon the Interim Civilian Government by section 4 of the Interim Civilian Government (Transfer of Executive Authority) Decree No. 19 of 2000, I, Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda, President of the Republic of Fiji, acting on the advice of the Cabinet, hereby make this Decree to amend the Hotels Aid Act-

Short title and commencement

1. This Decree may be cited as the Hotels Aid Act (Amendment) Decree 2000 and is deemed to have come into force on 30th June 2000.

Act amended

2. The Hotels Aid Act (Cap. 215) is amended-

(a) in section 12 in paragraph (c) of the definition of "short life investment" by deleting "2000" and inserting "2003".

(b) in sections 16 and 18 by deleting "2000" wherever it appears and inserting "2003".
