Fiji Constitution 1970 Revocation Decree 1987

REPUBLIC OF FIJI


FIJI CONSTITUTION REVOCATION DECREE 1987
INTERIM MILITARY GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 1


IN exercise of the powers vested in me as Commander and Head of the Interim Military Government of Fiji, I hereby make the following decree:


1. This Decree may be cited as the Fiji Constitution 1970 Revocation Decree 1987.


2. Notwithstanding the provisions of any laws existing before 25th September 1987 and to the provisions of any Decrees which may be promulgated from time to time, the Fiji Constitution 1970 is with effect from 25th day of September 1987, wholly removed.


3. In exercise of the powers vested in me as Commander of Fiji I also hereby decree that all Decrees promulgated under my hand and seal shall be regarded as law and shall be observed and enforced.
