FIJI EXISTING LAWS
DECREE 1987

INTERIM MILITARY GOVERNMENT OF FIJI
DECREE NO.2

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the Commander and Head of the Military Government of Fiji, I hereby make the following Decree:

l. This Decree may be cited as the Existing laws Decree 1987.

2. (a) Subject to the provisions of this Decree or any other Decree made in accordance with the powers vested in me as Commander and Head of the Interim Military Government of Fiji the existing laws in force immediately before the 25th day of September 1987 shall continue in force and shall be read with such modifications, adaptations, qualifications and exceptions as may be necessary in view of the Fiji Constitution Revocation Decree 1987.
   

(b) "Existing Laws" - mean all laws in force in Fiji immediately before the 25th day of September 1987.
