Electricity Act (Amendment) Decree 1990

DECREE NO. 34

ELECTRICITY ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 1990

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as President of the Sovereign Democratic Republic of Fiji and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, I hereby make the following Decree:

Short title

1. This Decree may be cited as the Electricity Act (Amendment) Decree, 1990.

Act Amended

2. The Electricity Act is amended by the deletion of the words 'General Manager' wherever they appear in the Act and substituted by the words 'Chief Executive Officer'.

Commencement

3. This Decree shall come into force on 1st day of December 1990.
