Excise (Budget Amendment) (No. 2) Decree 2012

GOVERNMENT OF FIJI

EXCISE (BUDGET AMENDMENT) (NO. 2) DECREE 2012
(DECREE NO. 68 OF 2012)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me as the President of the Republic of Fiji and the Commander in Chief of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces by virtue of the Executive Authority of Fiji Decree 2009, I hereby make the following Decree—

TO AMEND THE EXCISE ACT 1986

Short title and commencement

1. This Decree may be cited as the Excise (Budget Amendment) (No. 2) Decree 2012, and shall come into force on 22nd November, 2012.

Schedule 2 amended

2. Schedule 2 to the Excise Act 1986 is amended in Part 1 by deleting—

(a) in Item No. 1.01, Column 3 "145.03 cents" and substituting "159.53 cents";

(b) in Item No. 1.02, Column 3 "96.68 cents" and substituting "106.35 cents";

(c) in Item No. 1.03, Column 3—

(i) "145.03 cents" and substituting "159.53 cents"; and

(ii) "96.68 cents" and substituting "106.35 cents";

(d) in Item No. 2.01, Column 3 "$83.56" and substituting "$91.92";

(e) in Item No. 2.02, Column 3 "$49.09" and substituting "$54.00";

(f) in Item No. 2.03, Column 3—

(i) "$83.56" and substituting "$91.92"; and

(ii) "$49.09" and substituting "$54.00";

(g) in Item No. 3.01, Column 3 "$1.43" and substituting "$1.57";

(h) in Item No. 3.02, Column 3 "$1.67" and substituting "$1.84";

(i) in Item No. 4.01, Column 3 "$55.09" and substituting "$60.60";

(j) in Item No. 4.03, Column 3 "$31.46" and substituting "$34.61";

(k) in Item No. 4.04, Column 3 "$55.09" and substituting "$60.60";

(l) in Item No. 4.05, Column 3 "$1.03" and substituting "$1.13";

(m) in Item No. 5.01, Column 3 "$2.53" and substituting "$2.78";

(n) in Item No. 5.02, Column 3 "$2.22" and substituting "$2.44";

(o) in Item No. 5.03, Column 3 "$2.53" and substituting "$2.78"; and

(p) in Item No. 5.04, Column 3 "$2.22" and substituting "$2.44".
