REPUBLIC OF FIJI

CUSTOMS ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE 2000

(INTERIM CIVILIAN GOVERNMENT DECREE NO. 31 )

IN exercise of the powers conferred upon the Interim Civilian Government by section 4 of the Interim Civilian Government (Transfer of Executive Authority) Decree No. 19 of 2000, I, Josefa Iloilovatu Uluivuda, President of the Republic of Fiji, acting on the advice of the Cabinet, hereby make this Decree to amend the Customs Act 1986-

Short title

l. This Decree may be cited as the Customs Act (Amendment) Decree 2000.

Section 31 of the Customs Act 1986 amended

2. Section 31(2) of the Customs Act 1986 is amended by deleting the full stop at the end of the paragraph (e), substituting a semi-colon and inserting the following paragraph after paragraph (e)-

"(f) any other goods authorised by the Comptroller.".

CORRIGENDUM

SUGAR INDUSTRY ACT (AMENDMENT) DECREE

THE Sugar Industry Act (Amendment) Decree 2000 published as Gazette Notice 721 on Friday 13th October should be numbered "Interim Civilian Government Decree No. 30.".
