CIVIL AVIATION (OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF NATIONAL AIRLINES
(AMENDMENT) DECREE 2012
(DECREE NO. 27 OF 2012)

IN exercise of the powers vested in me pursuant to section 4 of the Office of the Vice-President and Succession Decree 2009 (Decree No. 8 of 2009), I hereby make the following Decree –

Short title and commencement

1. This Decree may be cited as the Civil Aviation (Ownership and Control of National Airlines) (Amendment) Decree 2012, and is deemed to have come into force on the date of commencement of the Civil Aviation (Ownership and Control of National Airlines) Decree 2012.

Section 2 amended

2. Section 2 of the Civil Aviation (Ownership and Control of National Airlines) Decree 2012 is amended by deleting paragraph (c) in the definition of "air carrier" and substituting the following:

"(c) is licensed by the Republic of Fiji to take on in its territory such passengers or cargo destined to a point outside of Fiji."
