PURSUANT to Section 39 of the Incorporated Societies Act 1994, His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following regulations:

REGULATIONS


1. Title and commencement - (1) These Regulations may be cited as the Incorporated Societies (Fees) Regulations 2005.


(2) These Regulations shall come into force on the 1st day of August 2005.


2. Fees - There shall be paid to the Registrar for the various matters set out in the Schedule hereto the respective fees set out in that Schedule.


3. Value Added Tax - The fees specified in these Regulations are inclusive of value added tax under the Value Added Tax Act 1997.


4. Revocation- The New Zealand Incorporated Societies Regulations 1979/93 is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE


Fees payable to the Registrar


1. For registration of any society
$30


2. For change of name of any society
$30


3. For alteration of rules
$10


4. For registration of new rules in place of registered rule
$15
5. For certifying a copy of or extract from the register or any document lodged with the Registrar

(a) Not exceeding 5 pages
(b) Exceeding 5 pages
(c) Exceeding 20 pages

6. For a copy of the certificate of incorporation of a society or a copy or extract from the register or any document lodged with the Registrar

(a) First page
(b) In excess of 1 page but less than 10 pages
(c) In excess of 10 pages
