ORDER IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

At Avarua, Rarotonga this 25th day of January 2005

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE QUEEN’S REPRESENTATIVE IN EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

PURSUANT to Sections 5, 12 and 19 of the Higher Salaries Commission Act 1989, His Excellency the Queen’s Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.

ORDER

1. Title - This Order may be cited as the Higher Salaries Commission (Amendment) Order 2005 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Higher Salaries Commission Order 2001 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”).

2. Membership of Commission - Section 2 of the principal Order is revoked and the following new section substituted -

“2. Membership of Commission - The Higher Salaries Commission shall comprise the following persons –

(a) Puai Tane Wichman, who shall be Chairman;

(b) Kura Strickland;

(c) Teresa Manarangi-Trott.”

3. Remuneration - Section 4 of the principal Order is revoked and the following new section substituted -

“4. Remuneration - There shall be payable to the members of the Higher Salaries Commission the following allowances for each meeting:

(a) the Chairman: $150.00

(b) other members: $100.00.”
