PURSUANT to Section 5A of the Entry, Residence and Departure Act 1971-72 (as inserted by section 2 of the Entry, Residence and Departure Amendment Act 1991), His Excellency the Queen's Representative, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following Order.

ORDER

1. Title - This Order may be cited as the Entry, Residence and Departure (Award of Honorary- Residence to Sir Barry Curtis) Order 2005.

2. Award of Honorary Residence in recognition of outstanding service - Pursuant to section SA of the Entry-, Residence and Departure Act 1971-72 (as amended by section 2 of the Entry, Residence and Departure Amendment Act 1991), the Queen's Representative on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration hereby confers upon Sir Barry Curtis by way of award, the status of Honorary Residence of the Cook Islands.
