An Act to amend the Overseas Exchange Fees Act 1975

(2 September 1980)

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title – This Act may be cited as the Overseas Exchange Fees Amendment Act 1980 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Overseas Exchange Fees Act 1975 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Refunds – Section 7 of the principal Act is hereby repealed and the following new section substituted:

"7. No refunds shall be granted on any fees paid under this Act unless it is proven to the satisfaction of the Minister that they were paid in error".

This Act is administered by the Ministry of Trade, Industries, Labour and Commerce.
