An Act to amend the Judicature Act 1980-81

BE IT ENACTED by the Parliament of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same as follows:

1. Short Title - This Act may be cited as the Judicature Amendment (No. 2) Act 1991 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Attempts and Conspiracies - Paragraph (c) of section 15A of the principal Act is repealed and replaced by the following paragraph:

"(c) Conspiracies and attempts to commit an offence, or accessories after the fact to an offence, where that offence qualifies under paragraphs (a) or (b);"

3. Income Tax - Paragraph (e) of section 15A of the principal Act 1980-81 is amended by deleting the figures "1968-69" and substituting therefor the figure "1972".

4. Maximum Penalties - Section 8 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1991 is amended by deleting the figure "3" at the beginning of the third line and substituting therefor the figure "21".
