An Act to amend the Control of Prices Act 1966

BE IT ENACTED by the Legislative Assembly of the Cook Islands in Session assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. Short Title – This Act may be cited as the Control of Prices Amendment Act 1971-72 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Control of Prices Act 1966 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act").

2. Constitution of Tribunal – Section 5 of the principal Act is hereby repealed and the following section substituted:–

"5. The Tribunal shall consist of three or more appointed members, namely –

(a) Two or more ordinary members (of whom one shall be appointed by the Minister to be President); and

(b) One or more associate members."

This Act is administered in the Treasury.
