An Act to amend the Vanuatu Agriculture College Act No. 51 of 2005.

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows:

1 Amendment

The Vanuatu Agriculture College Act No. 51 of 2005 is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act is taken to have commenced on 29 January 2007.

SCHEDULE

AMENDMENTS OF THE VANUATU AGRICULTURE COLLEGE ACT NO. 51 OF 2005

1 Subsection 16(3)

Delete "5", substitute "4".

2 After subsection 16(3)

Insert

"(3A) Each member present at a meeting has one vote and all decisions and questions arising at a meeting are to be determined by a majority of votes.

(3B) If the voting at a meeting is equal, the Chairperson, or in his absence the member chairing the meeting has a casting vote."
