An Act to amend the Road Traffic (Control) Act [CAP 29].

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows -

1. Amendment

The Road Traffic (Control) Act [CAP 29] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2. Commencement

(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act commences on 01 January 2007.

(2) Item 2 of the Schedule commences on the date on which this Act is published in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE

AMENDMENTS OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC (CONTROL) ACT [CAP 29]

1. Subsection 33(4)

Delete "4%" (wherever occurring), substitute "7%".

2. Subsection 46A (2)

Delete "1st of September 2006", substitute "a date to be specified by the Minister by Order,".
