POLICE (AMENDMENT)
ACT NO. 3 OF 2015

An Act to amend the Police Act [CAP 105].

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-.

1 Amendment

The Police Act [CAP 105] is amended as set out in the Schedule.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE

AMENDMENTS OF POLICE ACT [CAP 105]

1 Subparagraphs 7A(7)(a), (b) and (c)

Repeal the paragraphs, substitute

“(a) he or she must have served in a senior position in the Police Force in Vanuatu or in any other country for a period of 7 years or more; and

(b) preferably has a tertiary qualification in the area of policing, military, management or Law.”
