OPTIONAL PROTOCOL TO THE CONVENTION ON THE ELIMINATION
OF ALL FORMS OF DISCRIMINATION AGAINST WOMEN (CEDAW)
(RATIFICATION) ACT NO. 28 OF 2006

An Act to provide for the ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW).

Be it enacted by the President and Parliament as follows-

1. Ratification

The Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is ratified.

A copy of the Optional Protocol is attached.

2. Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which it is published in the Gazette.
