MARRIAGE (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 5 OF 1993

Assent: 19/02/93
Commencement: 03/05/93

An Act to amend the Marriage Act [CAP. 60].

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows: -

AMENDMENT OF SECTION 3 OF CHAPTER 60

1. Section 3 of the Marriage Act [CAP. 60] is amended in subsections (1) and (2) by deleting the words "Minister responsible for home affairs" wherever occurring and substituting the words "Minister responsible for religious affairs".

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
