REPUBLIC OF VANUATU

IMMIGRATION (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 10 OF 1997

Assent: 12/09/97
Commencement: 27/04/98

An Act to amend the Immigration Act Cap. 66.

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows:-

AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1 TO CHAPTER 66

1. Schedule 1 to the Immigration Act [Cap. 66] is amended -

(a) in column A by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting the following new paragraph:

"(b) on application for a permit to enter an reside in Vanuatu for a period of 3 – 9 years VT 50,000"

(b) by adding the following new paragraph after paragraph (h) -

"(i) On application by a person or family for a long term permit to enter and reside in Vanuatu for a period of 10 – 15 years VT 700,000"

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Gazette.
