An Act to amend the
Immigration Act [CAP.
66].
BE IT
ENACTED by the President and Parliament
as
follows:-
INSERTION
OF NEW SECTION 21A IN CHAPTER
66
1. The following new, section
is inserted after section 21 of the Immigration Act [Cap. 66] in this Act
referred to as the "principal Act":-
"FEES
21A. The various fees set out in column B shall be payable, on application, by the applicant to the Principal Immigration Officer for the various matters set out under column A in Schedule 1 hereto."
INSERTION
OF NEW SCHEDULE 1 IN THE PRINCIPAL
ACT.
2. The following new Schedule
is inserted after section 23 of the principal Act:-

permit to enter and reside in Vanuatu for a period of one year

long term permit (3-15 years)

applicants who were resident in
Vanuatu prior to 30 July 1980

(d) On application for an
extension of a permit to reside in Vanuatu for a period of one year for
applicants who entered Vanuatu on
or after 30 July 1980
|
VT
20,000;
|
|
(e) On application for a
permit to enter and reside in Vanuatu for one year for children under 18 years
of age
|
VT
2,000;
|
|
(f) On application for an
extension of a permit to reside in Vanuatu for children under 18 years of
age
|
VT
1,000;
|
|
The replacement or
alteration of a permit on change of immigration status
|
VT
5,000;
|
|
The preparation of any other
certificate or document
|
VT
1,500."
|
COMMENCEMENT.
3.
This Act shall come into force on the date of its publication in the
Gazette.
