EXPORT DUTIES (AMENDMENT) ACT
NO. 33 OF 1993

An Act to amend the Export Duties Act [CAP. 31].

BE IT ENACTED by the President and Parliament as follows: -

AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1 TO CHAPTER 31

1. The Export Duties Act [CAP. 31] is amended in Schedule 1 by deleting the figure "15%" in the column headed "Ad Valorem Duty Rate" corresponding to subparagraph (b) of paragraph (9) in the column headed "Goods and Products" and substituting the words "15% plus VT 1,300 per cubic metre".

COMMENCEMENT

2. This Act shall come into force on 1st January, 1994.
